How to use it
Keep it simple and do not leave it on too long.
- Soak: threads in raw milk for 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge
- Mix: add honey or besan and stir into a smooth paste
- Patch-test: a little behind your ear, then wait 24 hours. Skip it if there is redness or itching
- Apply: a thin layer on clean skin, avoiding the eyes, for 10–15 minutes
- Rinse: with cool water and pat dry
When I like using it
Many families make a kesar pack before a wedding, a puja or Diwali. It feels like a small, calming ritual.
- A week before a function, use it 2 times, not every day
- Make it fresh each time. Do not store the paste
Which kesar to use
